Step by step guide to migrate TFTW Shopify payment methods

We have already prepared your migration and copied over your shops and login to the new platform 🙌

You can just login to our new management platform and start with your migration. Follow the steps below:

Login to your account on manage.tftw.ch
1. If you forgot your password, please use the "Forgot password" option
You will now be shown all your stores which need to be migrated. Please click on "Start migration"
We will now show you some more information about the migration. Please again click on "Start migration process"
To make sure the payment app will always work in your store the first step is to add a payment method to your TFTW Account. This payment method will be used to capture the annual cost of the payment app (yearly) and the transaction fee (monthly)
In this step you will connect and install the new payment app in Shopify. Please click on "Install app
You will now be redirected to Shopify.
Please click on "Connect"
In the background Shopify will send us an activation confirmation via API and we'll know that you connected our service with Shopify.
Please click on "Install app". This will install the new payment app in your Shopify store (Important: Its not activated yet - you need to finish the process)
Please return to the migration process on your TFTW Dashboard (manage.tftw.ch)
Please click on "Activate new payment gateway"
You will be redirected to your Shopify store again
Click on "Activate"
Please return to the migration process on your TFTW Dashboard (manage.tftw.ch)
If you have been able to activate the payment method in Shopify please click on "Yes"
The next step will be to disable the old TWINT or PowerPay gateway in your shop. Please click on "Disable old payment gateway" to go to Shopify again
You will now be redirected to the old payment gateway in Shopify
Please click the "Deactivate" button at the bottom of the page
Confirm that you would like to deactivate the old payment gateway in Shopify by clicking on the "Deactivate" button again
Please return to the migration process on your TFTW Dashboard (manage.tftw.ch)
Confirm that you have been able to deactivate the old payment gateway in Shopify by answering the last question with "Yes
Congrats 🎉 - You are now all done! The new payment app is now installed on your store and you are already accepting payments with it while reading this ;)
